Gabriel Tremblay
Senior Health Economics Advisor and AI support
DBA, MSc
Gabriel is an applied economist with over eighteen years of experience in health economics, health technology assessment (HTA) and market access across the pharmaceutical industry and consulting. He has led more than 150 health economics and HTA analyses and over 130 reimbursement submissions to payers in 40 countries, covering cost-effectiveness analysis, economic evaluation and comparative-effectiveness research for drugs, medical devices, cell therapies and hospital technologies.
He works with biotechs and pharmaceutical companies to identify and demonstrate economic value and to prepare for commercialization and reimbursement by public and private payers. He supports them as a consultant and, for high-potential biotechs, as an investor.
Gabriel co-founded Purple Squirel Economics in 2016, later acquired by a CRO, where he served for many years as Vice President of Health Economics. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (healthcare decision making for HTA) from BSI Luxembourg and Lyon University, an MSc in Health Economics from HEC Montréal, and a BA in Economics.
Gabriel also works at the intersection of HEOR and AI through Untraceable AI (theuntraceable.ai). HEOR teams handle patient-level data, payer-confidential material and NDA-bound client information that cannot be shared with a general-purpose AI model. Untraceable addresses this by protecting the confidential values by design rather than by contract. This lets teams use AI for evidence synthesis, modeling support and submission drafting without exposing sensitive data. At Frontier HEOR, he helps clients adopt AI in evidence generation and reimbursement work while meeting the privacy and compliance requirements of regulated environments.
Gabriel received a DBA (healthcare decision making for HTA) from BSI Luxembourg and Lyon University and an MSc in Health Economics from HEC Montréal.
